Day 2 in The Zone

As usual, I have trouble getting to bed when I intend to. Between cleaning up the blog post, taking the dog out, taking care of my neighbor’s cat, and getting ready for bed (and probably some other things I missed), it was nearly 2 AM before I got in bed. I read ’til 2:30.

Also, my current wake-up discipline isn’t great – I didn’t get out of bed ’til 10am, which, at least is better than yesterday.

However, my weight was 192 this morning, which is definitely an improvement.

Breakfast was turkey(0/0/1.5) and light swiss cheese(2/0/1) in a whole wheat wrap(1.5/3/0.5) with romaine lettuce, tomato, and sliced red pepper with mustard.

I also had a multi-vitamin and two fish-oil pills (yesterday I did the same and had two more fish-oil pills with dinner).

Lunch was a chicken hummus veggie(7/7/7) at The Perfect Pita.

Dinner, with two more fish-oil pills, was a grilled chicken and steak wrap with light swiss (4/3/3)

Emily and I were really jonesing for something sweet so we went out to the store and bought groceries that included ice cream. It wasn’t ideal, but one Dove bar is (6/3/0.5). To balance out the protein I ate some turkey slices(0/0/3).

Final tally was 20.5 blocks of fat (barely improved over yesterday), 16 blocks of carbs (not bad), and 16.5 blocks of protein. Not a bad day, even if I succumbed to a Dove bar.

It’s 1:40 in the morning and I still have cats and dogs to attend to, so I’m not going to go into all the extra information I promised yet. Tomorrow looks to be equally busy, what with the getting up at 6:30 to work out, appointments in the morning, then a full day of work. We’ll see. Even blogging at all right now isn’t something I thought I’d have time to do, but it really is something I want to get into more.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
